All colleges make superannuation contributions for work performed. ReadyTeacher guarantees payment to the teacher’s nominated superannuation fund.
Superannuation is calculated at a rate of 9.5% of 90% of the hourly rate, that is the personal income received by the educator.
10% GST is payable on all invoices.
Our booking fees are a low $10 per job (not per day) except between the morning ET hours of 6.00am and 7.30am when a $20 booking fee applies.
In the event that a college requests an educator and RT confirms the booking verbally or by SMS or email, subsequent cancellation will incur a fee of $75. This amount is distributed as $50 for the educator and $25 in administration costs.
FINDER'S FEE FOR NEW EMPLOYEES
We are often asked to source new employees for our member colleges, and at times our relief teachers are asked to on-board as direct employees of our member institutions.
New employees can be introduced to an institution via our 4-week Employee Trial Period service. Having a trial allows both parties to explore the working relationship before direct employment is offered and on-boarding processes commence. During the Trial Period, our normal hourly rate applies with no additional fees at the conclusion of the trial and no booking fee.
In some cases, for example with new introductions for management or administration roles, institutions may wish to pay a fixed $550 fee to on-board the candidate from Day 1.
HOW IT WORKS
ReadyTeacher sends your college an invoice on the same day that timesheets are due. The educator receives payment by invoicing ReadyTeacher. We also invite credit card payments as this enables us to reimburse our teachers promptly.
